Year 6 have been inspired by the poem Sea Prayer by Khaled Hosseini to think about the plight of refugees around the world.  They were encouraged to think of the vocabulary associated with refuge and came up with some very interesting words as you can see.  Their poems represent the war stories of the past and present  as well as holding out hope for the future.
