On Thursday 6Q cooked up a delicious World War II inspired vegetable stew. Mr Thwaites led a fantastic DT cooking session, where the children harvested some of the vegetables from the school gardens. We then washed, prepared and cooked the vegetables following a World War 2 recipe. Mr. Hunt and Mr. Forrester both joined us for a tasting session and it was thumbs up all round! 6Q would also like to thank Mrs. Taliotis and Mrs. Watkins – our parent helpers – who came in to help on Thursday morning.
