Year 2 went into the allotment to bury Samuel Pepys’ wine, cheese and diary. They then thought about what would be significant enough for them to bury.

This week the children had a bucket relay to simulate trying to put out the Great Fire with water from the River Thames and had a surprise visitor from 1666! They also made some brilliant firework art using a new wax resist technique.
